Brian Brobbey secures win for U17’s over AZ U17

The Ajax Daily Youth Team brings you all the latest news

On Tuesday, Ajax U17 played their third match in one week. After the 5-1-win over Zwolle U17 and the 2-1-loss against PSV U17, an away match versus AZ U17 was next for the talents.

Just 3 minutes into the game AZ took the lead, which they couldn’t enjoy long as Ajax immediately scored the equalizer: Brian Brobbey scored from the penalty spot. A few minutes before halftime, AZ scored again: 2-1. After the break Brobbey scored, again, to equalize once more. One minute later he shot Ajax into the lead for the first time this evening, and the top scorer of the academy wasn’t satisfied with a hat trick: In the 80th minute Brobbey scored his 4th goal of the match and his 28th(!) goal of this season. A great warm-up for the ABN Amro Future Cup this weekend!
