Olympique Lyonnais have completed the signing of Kenny Tete. The defender, who joined the Ajax youth academy at the age of 10 back in 2005, put pen to paper on a four-year deal. The Amsterdammers receive a €4 million transfer fee.
Amsterdam-born Tete made his first team debut under Frank de Boer in 2015 and would go on to establish himself as the first choice for the right-back position. However, after the appointment of Peter Bosz he was moved to the bench in favor of Joel Veltman and decided to hand in a transfer request.
In France, Tete is reunited with Bertrand Traoré. The Chelsea forward, who played for Ajax on loan last season, completed his transfer to the French giants last week.
