Bosz hits out at Mourinho over United’s fixture build up

Peter Bosz has hit out at Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho by telling him to stop moaning about their fixture pile-up. The Dutch coach was responding to comments from his opposite number ahead of next week’s Europa League Final.

The Red Devil’s traveled to Southampton on Wednesday and left St Mary’s with a point after an unconvincing 0-0 draw. United host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday and Mourinho insists it will be a heavily changed squad.

Bosz, who will have more than a week to prepare for Ajax’s Europa showdown having finished their campaign four day’s ago, has little sympathy. He said “If I only look at his line-ups and team formations all season, then he is playing with almost two different teams – one team for the Europa League and one for the Premier League.

“If those boys, which he is using for his European games, are not playing at the weekend in the Premier League, they have as much rest and exactly the same preparation time as my players – and look at the number of players he has to rotate.”
